HBA Education Department

The HBA offers a wide variety of education opportunities from the annual Housing Forecast and code updates to certifications to general business and industry related classes to help you run your company more effectively. 

GOAL

Growth is essential in a changing industry, and our education department helps keep members on track with information, training and certification opportunities. Our goal is to be the preferred industry resource - continually identifying new and relevant trends, presenting exciting speakers and offering timely certification programs. Our classes cover topics from marketing and business development to construction and technology.

Join us for this unique event created to bring the industry together each month.Enjoy a delicious lunch, hear a short presentation on an important building or housing market topic and network with industry professionals.

Green Building Week

This series of classes presents information related to green construction practices, ranging from solar energy to tax credits. It takes place once a year.

Seminars

These multi-hour events—on subjects such as sales techniques or building codes updates— provide in-depth education to attendees.

LOCAL CERTIFICATIONS

Construction Contractors Board (CCB) Licensing
The HBA is a provider of the 16-hour, self-study education course which is required prior to registering for the Oregon CCB examination.
