First Friday

$5-Must register and pay in advance

The Membership Council designed this "leads" format event to help members promote their business to other members. Come prepared with a one minute elevator speech. Bring at least 50 business cards. Non-members are welcome to observe but may not participate until they join. Space is limited to 50 with no more than three people from the same industry and one person from the same company. Building Code Update Class (Free)

Tuesday, Sept. 16
2-5 p.m.
HBA 1st Floor

This 3-hour course will cover all the changes to the 2008 Oregon Residential Structural Code.These code changes became effective April 1, 2008; however, applicants for a building permit can opt to use the 2005 edition until June 30, 2008. Attendees will receive 4 hours of classroom credit for CMB or other continuing education purposes. Please register in advance; class size is limited.
