The Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland has promoted, protected and advanced the building industry since 1942. We provide services, networking opportunities and government representation to builders, developers, remodelers, sub-contractors, suppliers and other industry service professionals in Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Columbia and Yamhill counties.
Today, more than 1,000 members call the HBA home, with more joining every day.
What’s In It For You?
Membership in the HBA gives you and your company the opportunity to be more successful.
Build your Business: Network with current and potential customers in the building industry at HBA events, seminars and meetings. Market your company through exclusive, member-only publications like the Home Building News, and through consumer opportunities like the Portland Home and Garden Shows™, NW Natural Street of Dreams™, Tour of Remodeled Homes™, and the Ultimate Open House™.
Protect your Business: HBA’s government affairs staff represents the industry’s interests to more than 50 government jurisdictions. We’re constantly dealing with land use, permit, regulatory, infrastructure, fee, planning and other issues to help protect and improve our members’ ability to build and remodel homes. We have state and federal governments covered, too, through the Oregon Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders. You couldn’t possibly cover it all, so we are there for you!
Help your Bottom Line: HBA has developed exclusive member benefits that can save you hundreds or thousands of dollars on important business costs, including incredible medical insurance, fuel, cell phone, workers comp, liability insurance and other programs that offer great benefits with substantial member discounts. You really can’t afford not to be a member.
Expand your Business Leadership: HBA education seminars and certification programs give you the training and tools needed to be an industry leader.
